Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) launched its Housing Accelerator Fund (HAF) on July 4, 2023, to provide incentive funding to local governments to increase the housing supply across Canada. The application window will be open until August 18, 2023, with funding available in two streams: Large/Urban and Small/Rural/North/Indigenous for provinces, territories, municipalities and Indigenous governing bodies.

RHI grant in action
To help address affordable housing needs, the Town of Hinton successfully secured a $2.3 million grant through Phase 2 of CMHC’s Rapid Housing Initiative (RHI). Our team assisted the Town of Hinton in securing the RHI grant, and is currently leading the project management initiatives. Read more ›.
