Greylock Glen is an Outdoor Recreation Destination
Colliers provided project management services to develop approximately 63 acres of the 1,063-acre property into an outdoor recreation resort that includes a trails system, campground lodge and conference center, performing arts amphitheater and garden, as well as a 10,000 gsf outdoor center.
The center serves as the primary hub for the Resort and includes a welcome center, classrooms, exhibit space, a café, and an outdoor recreation gear retail/rental space designed to make Greylock Glen an outdoor resort destination.
Some of the priorities for the Greylock Glen Outdoor Center project included the use of solar and natural lighting, energy efficiency, and a thoughtful use of natural building materials that serve to enhance and honor the surrounding environment.
As project manager, Colliers provided the following services:
- Attend pre-construction and construction progress meetings
- Retain, supervise, and manage a Clerk of the Works for daily full-time construction observation throughout the duration of construction
- Review monthly updates of the general status of schedule milestones, schedule slippage, and other noteworthy information
