Congratulations to Peel Manor, winner of the 2024 AdvantAge Capital Project Award for its innovative Seniors Health and Wellness Village project.

The award, which our organization is proud to sponsor, was presented by Jamie Cook, Colliers Project Leaders’ Director of Healthcare, to the Brampton organization on Wednesday, April 17, at 6:00 pm.

The Peel Manor project involves the site redevelopment of the existing Peel Manor Long-Term Care (LTC) and Adult Day Services (ADS) centres into a ‘wellness village’. The development will include a technologically advanced 177-bed long-term care home with an enhanced facility design that is highly dementia-friendly and improves infection prevention and control (IPAC).

It will also house a Supportive Community Service Hub to support community-based seniors and caregivers, operated via an evidence-informed integrated care model. The service hub will offer an expanded ADS space and program, an eight-bed overnight respite centre, an Integrated Care Clinic offering seniors-focused primary care as well as specialized neurobehavioral and gerontological oversight, and more.

We applaud Peel Manor for its incredible approach to long-term care.
