Located in Scarborough, Ontario, the new Canada Post Albert Jackson Processing Centre will have the capacity to process more than one million packages per day. Roughly the size of six CFL football fields, the facility will be Canada Post’s first zero-carbon design certified building and the largest industrial project in Canada with the Zero Carbon Building Standard Designation.
While the plant is being built to help transform the future for Canada Post, its name recognizes and pays respect to the past. The naming of the Centre is intended to honour, share and preserve Albert Jackson’s legacy, and serve as a reminder of the importance of respect and equality in the workplace.
As the project management consultant, we are proud to be a part of the meaningful and respectful partnership to deliver this momentous project for Canada Post Corporation.
